Old Man of the Woods

The Old Man of the Woods was a Ghumbi folk figure and the subject of numerous tall tales originating in Fungwood. He was said to be the guardian of Fungwood, and was said to take people who meant the forest harm away during the night. He is said to dislike the light, and travelers are therefore ushered to take the Lanterned Path when travelling through the forest.
